There is a reason it feels that way, and it is not your taste. For one bathroom alone, someone has to decide the molding, the paint, the tile, whether the plumbing moves, the cabinet width, how high the tile runs, and about a hundred more. Plumbing and electrical come first, which means the decisions you would naturally make last have to be made first. Now multiply that by every room in your home.
My work is built around carrying all of it for you. Design starts with the architecture itself. The proportions, the millwork, the way light moves through the space. Every choice after that belongs to one vision, so the finished home feels inevitable instead of assembled.

A husband said that to Alexis in the middle of a design presentation. She finished his living room. He walked in, looked around, and asked when she was available to do the dining room and the bathroom. It often starts with one room. It rarely ends there.

One client wrote to Alexis the night after her design presentation and said she hadn't been able to stop looking at it. The presentation is usually the moment it all clicks: I see it now. This is exactly what I was trying to picture and couldn't express.

One honest note first. Design fees begin at ten thousand dollars, and the projects we do best are ones where the construction and furnishing investment starts around fifty thousand dollars for a single space, and well beyond that for full homes and new builds. If that is not the season you are in, there is no judgment here at all.
